Free family-friendly event for the community featuring hot dogs and burgers cooked by your Mayor and City Council! The City is proud to partner with the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office and the Dayton Fire District for this event. We hope to see you there!

Dayton’s second annual Stars & Stripes Celebration will be taking place on Friday, July 4th with fireworks scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. The viewing area for the show is the old soccer field behind Dayton Grade School (526 Ferry St). Accessible parking is available in the lot behind the Post Office at 530 Ferry St, adjacent to the field where the event is taking place. General parking is available in the lot at the Palmer Creek Lodge Community Events Center (608 4th St), at Dayton High School (801 Ferry St) and near Courthouse Square Park (3rd and Ferry St).

Prior to fireworks, our weekly Friday night celebration, Dayton Friday Nights will be taking place in Courthouse Square Park from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. with music, vendors, wine tasting Carmi Wines, and food available. Local restaurants including Loam, Juanitas, The By-Pass, Camino , The Joel Palmer House, and The Bay House will be open as well. The fireworks show is visible from the park, so you’re welcome to stay after Friday Nights is over and watch from there.

La segunda celebración anual de Stars & Stripes de Dayton se llevará a cabo el viernes 4 de julio, con el espectáculo de fuegos artificiales programado para comenzar a las 10:00 p.m. La zona de observación será el antiguo campo de fútbol detrás de la Escuela Primaria de Dayton (526 Ferry St). Habrá estacionamiento accesible disponible en el lote detrás de la Oficina de Correos (530 Ferry St), justo al lado del campo donde se realizará el evento. El estacionamiento general estará disponible en el lote del Palmer Creek Lodge Community Events Center (608 4th St), en la Escuela Secundaria de Dayton (801 Ferry St) y en los lotes cercanos a Courthouse Square Park (3rd y Ferry St).

Our friends at Dayton School District are kindly sharing the Junior High School parking lot with the community on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for people that would like to have their sales there. Anyone wishing to use the lot should plan to bring their own tables and be sure to remove everything they've brought at the end of their sale. We will include the parking lot on the City's garage sale maps.

Nuestros amigos del Distrito Escolar de Dayton amablemente compartirán el estacionamiento de la escuela secundaria con la comunidad el sábado 10 de mayo, de 9:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m., para quienes deseen realizar sus ventas allí. Quienes deseen usar el estacionamiento deberán traer sus propias mesas y asegurarse de retirar todo lo que hayan traído al final de la venta. Incluiremos el estacionamiento en los mapas de ventas de garaje de la ciudad.
