Summer Reading Performances Please indicate which performances you would be interested in helping at.
July 11 - Paradise of Samoa - 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. - Courthouse Square Park - This performance takes the audience on a tour of Pacific Islands through music and dance.
July 18 - Jeff Evans - 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. - Courthouse Square Park - Jeff Evans is a motivational magician that encourages kids to develop a lifelong love of reading through his interactive magic show.
July 25 - Oregon Coast Aquarium - 1:00 - 3:30 - Palmer Creek Lodge - The Oregon Coast Aquarium will present an interactive hands-on program about tidepool ecosystems. Volunteers who are able to assist may be asked to setup and take down tables at this event.
August 8 - Red Yarn - 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. - Courthouse Square Park - Red Yarn is a Texas-born Oregon-based family performer who weaves music and puppetry into high-energy shows for all ages.
August 22 - Museum of Natural and Cultural History - University of Oregon - 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. - Palmer Creek Lodge - Dive into an ocean of hands-on science fun while exploring Oregon's underwater environments. Discover the amazing variety of life beneath the waves in beautiful kelp forests or rugged rocky reefs. Volunteers who are able to assist may be asked to setup and take down tables at this event.
