How long have you lived in Dayton?
25+ years

Where were you born?
Utah

Educational Background:
BS in Environmental Studies with a Focus in Policy

Career Background:
Extensive Customer Service/Support in various capacities and industries but currently I am employed with Yamhill County, in the DA Department.

What do you love most about Dayton?

The Community! The people in Dayton, their ability to support each other, their ingenuity and their commitment to progress. They never give up!

Do you have a particular area or passion regarding your work on the City Council?
Water supply and infrastructure, economic development in our downtown and community parks.

Who inspires you to be better?
My son, Jacob, inspires me every day!  His generation will be the leaders making decisions before long, their ability to think outside of the box for new and better way to do things gives me hope for a better future for all.

What is the last adventure you went on?
The last adventure I went on was to Lake Tahoe for a work conference. It was a great educational experience but the weather and beauty in that area was fabulous, I truly enjoyed it all.

If you were given 10 million dollars to spend on Dayton, how would you spend it?
If I were given 10 million dollars, I would use ¾ quarters of it or all of it, towards repairing and building our infrastructure to support building our economy. Our current and future businesses deserve reliable utility services as do our community members. The remainder quarter of the funds, if they were not used entirely on the infrastructure, would be used to help local businesses, from start up funding to façade improvements. We need to help support our local economy; it benefits us all.
